Getting Started

When you first open Nitrox Helper, a guided onboarding walks you through four simple steps to personalise the app. You can change any of these settings later in the Options tab.

Choose Your Language

Select your preferred language for the entire interface. Nitrox Helper supports 8 languages:

English (UK)
English (US)
Afrikaans
Greek
French
Spanish
German
Dutch

All labels, headings, descriptions, and safety messages will appear in your chosen language.

Pick a Theme

Choose from 16 colour themes to make the app your own. Themes apply to buttons, headers, indicators, and accents throughout the app. Both light and dark mode are supported and follow your device settings.

Select Your Units

Choose between Metric (metres) and Imperial (feet) for depth measurements. You can also switch units on individual calculator tabs later using the toolbar.

You're All Set

The final screen shows a summary of the app's four calculators. Tap "Get Started" and you're ready to dive in.

Changing Settings Later

All settings from the onboarding can be changed at any time in the Options tab (the gear icon). From there you can also:

Switch between salt water and fresh water
Set the number of decimal places (0–3) for depth and PPO results
Change your language, theme, or units
Manage your Pro subscription
